Barbers Hill ISD, located in Mont Belveiu, Texas, sought to change the grade alignments of its schools to better accommodate growth and follow new state requirements. DIG provided civil engineering and construction service for the new 4th-5th grades addition while simultaneously maintaining operations of the existing 2nd-3rd grade elementary school.

Civil engineering services associated with this project included creating a dedicated parent drop off drive and visitor parking. The existing bus drive serves both the existing elementary school and new addition. DIG also designed a pedestrian bridge over the bayou that connects the site to a new play area.
