The main focus of the campus reorganization takes into account the whole notion of a campus that is student centered. The creation of a main student gathering space is defined by the juxtaposition of the new buildings and having all of the buildings organized in a way that supports that notion. The main circulation spine “Panther Parkway” helped organize and link all buildings, creating adaptive open spaces and collaboration zones.
The construction of new buildings includes a state of the art two-story “Media Arts” building housing specialty science and innovation labs (such as Medical Assistant, Science, Art, and Student Services Center), one-story “Vocational Technology/Cafeteria” building housing specialty engineering and innovation labs (such as Applied Engineering, Auto Shop, ROTC, and Culinary Arts), one-story Boys’ and Girls’ Locker/Team Rooms building, and one-story Satellite Kitchen to help support the main kitchen facility and to offer student outdoor dining options.
The Perris High School curriculum creates an innovation hub that promotes an entrepreneurial spirit to students and reinforces their business-minded curriculum.
