Texas A&M University-San Antonio Academic and Administration Building

Client: Texas A&M University
Market: Higher Education
Discipline: Architecture + Interiors
Project Area: 59,191 sq. ft.

The Academic and Administration Building – Phase I will be constructed on the Texas A&M University-San Antonio Campus. With approximately 45,500 gross square feet of space, the new building is proposed to provide the following primary academic spaces: nineteen classrooms, art suite, language lab suite and incubator classroom with support space for each academic function, twenty faculty offices with support spaces, a small lobby, and general storage space. The building has been identified in the recently completed campus master plan, to be located just south of the existing Central Academic Building on the northeast corner of the future “quad.”
“My experience working with the PBK team is an excellent example of how the client and designer come together to successfully execute a project. With that, it is my honor to recommend one of the most distinguished architecture firms I have ever worked with to other higher education institutions requiring design services.”
